Wine Description
The 2021 vintage of Chteau Capbern presents a medium crimson hue with subtle purple and ochre nuances at the rim. On the nose, it offers enticing aromas of raspberry, redcurrant, and plum, complemented by savory notes and hints of orange zest. The palate is juicy and elegant, showcasing fresh acidity and well-integrated tannins. Flavors of pure redcurrant pastille and red licorice are interwoven with fine graphite and savory oak nuances, leading to a chewy and prolonged finish. The wine underwent 18 months of aging in 40% new French oak barriques and has an alcohol content of 12.8%.
