The 2016 Chteau d’Issan is a blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon and 36% Merlot. In the glass, it presents a deep garnet-purple hue. The nose is vibrant and expressive, with aromas of black cherries, blackcurrants, chocolate mint, beef drippings, black olives, and cigar box. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with an intensely flavored mid-palate, supported by firm, grainy tannins and a long, savory finish. This wine is crafted using sustainable viticulture practices.
