Gea Rosso di Montalcino Paradiso di Frassina, Organic Wine, 100% Sangiovese Grosso, unique vineyard with music played to the vines, delicious and elegant Tuscan red. Grown on some of the best slopes on the estate, it would be highly unfair to consider this to be the Brunellos inferior, its a brilliant wine in its own right, and a stunning example of what Sangiovese is capable of. The fruit is forward and vibrant, the texture perfect and the balance, spot on. This wine spends a year in old barrels and so no oak flavours but plenty of freshness. A delicious wine for lovers of Sangiovese and certainly value for the price considering it is less than half the Brunello!
