Yangarra Ironheart Shiraz 2015

The name Ironheart speaks to the reddish ironstone gravel soil and represents the most eloquent expression of Shiraz from our unique Estate. This wine aspires to be a powerhouse, yet showcasing perfume and an elegant side to its dense sanguine character and tannin-built structure.

Certified organic. Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep black dark red hue. Potent aniseed aromas intermix with blackberry and black plum scents. Toasty vanillin oak, liquorice allsorts, confectionary, fennel and pepper also chime in. Rich aniseed, liquorice of all sorts, blackberry and dark plum flavours saturate the mouth with a feeling of opulence. Sitting underneath are ripe sturdy tannins with toasty vanillin oak, fennel and pepper also evident. Good freshness to the fruit with a long robust aftertaste.
