Zena Crown Vista Pinot Noir 2016

Since 2013, Zena Crown has produced site-specific Pinot Noirs from the Zena Crown Vineyard located in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA of Willamette Valley, Oregon. The line-up of small production Pinot Noirs are meticulously crafted by Winemaker Shane Moore capturing the vineyards changing moods and expressions just as if it were a living, breathing thing.

When you stand at the top of the Zena Crown Vineyard, a vista of rolling hills, vines and mountainsides lay before you imparting the essence of sunshine and finesse into this artistic expression of Oregon Pinot. Sourced from the highest points of the vineyard, the range of elevations can be tasted: like a roller coaster starting with red fruit and citrus that transitions to darker flavours and herbs on a juicy, persistent finish. Earthy elements like pipe tobacco and clover blossom create a backdrop for flavours of milk chocolate, wild strawberry and spice.
